FAQ :

  • Q: Is the cleaning process safe?
  • A: The cleaning process used by Tile Cleaners Sydney® is completely safe, not only for your family but for the surrounding areas of your property. The utmost care is taken by our professionals to protect walls and skirting boards as well as all other items in the work area.
    • Q: What is the difference between honing and grinding?
    • A: Grinding refers to the removal of large amounts of material from the surface of a stone. The grinding method removes lippage (uneven surface) thereby smoothing out the surface of the area making it uniform. Honing is the smoothing of the stone, not as aggressive as grinding and removes very little material from the stone, resulting in a matte (not shinny) appearance to the surface.
      • Q: What is grout?
      • A: Grout is a construction material used to seal the spaces between tiles or concrete. Grout is typically made from cement, water, sand, and added colour. Grout is added once tiles have been installed, then any excess grout is wiped away. Grout is applied in liquid form, and then hardens over time.
